Steam Train lighting study

When it comes to painting watercolor. I like to work small sometimes just so that I can focus on the big shape instead of trap in little details. These two small paintings were painted on a single 15"x10" paper. Two reference images of the same train in different lighting scenarios. I enjoyed this a lot and really happy how they turned out.
